Cloquet Forestry Center
As a research and education center for the University of Minnesota, the Cloquet Forestry Center is a beautiful place to go for meetings and small conferences, classes, enjoying nature, and to learn about forest ecosystems and natural resource management. The natural habitat includes a wide array of wildlife including moose, wolves, bear, lynx, bobcats, porcupines, hares, and ruffed grouse.


Cloquet Country Club
Established in 1923, the golf course now features 18 holes with a par of 71 and a challenging course rating of 72.9. The Country Club also offers a Golf Shop, Practice Facilities, and a Bar & Restaurant. With a wonderful social, welcoming atmosphere and an affordable rate, the Cloquet Country Club is a great way for you and your family to enjoy your leisure time.

Community Events
Cloquet has many exciting community events that will keep you and your family entertained all year long. These include the Lumberjack Fun Run in the Spring, Fourth of July Celebration and Parade, along with the Polka Fest and Sawdust 5K in the Summer, the River Run and watching the leaves change in the fall, and in the Winter you can enjoy tubing and skiing. Many Cloquet residents also enjoy hiking, camping, canoeing, biking, snowshoeing, swimming, white water rafting, hockey, football, and many other activities.

Cloquet is home to the Spafford Park Campground, open May through October. This modern campground, adjacent to the St. Louis River and boat landing, offers 22 sites with electrical and water hook-ups and waste station available to all campers.
